Happy Hump Day, friends! I hope your week has been great so far. Mine has been pretty good! I started back at work Monday and although getting used to my new schedule has been a bit of a struggle, the work day(s) have been great!
Quick question before we jump into today’s post…Do you have faith? Faith in God or in a higher power/or being? Well I ask because these past few months have been, in my opinion, a test of my faith in more ways than one. Without going into all the details, I have found that having faith in God and in His timing is SO important. It’s easy to pray and ask for something, but it’s hard to have faith that things will work out in the end. We often pray for things or pray that certain situations work out the way we want them to. But sometimes God has something different in mind for us. We have to learn to have faith and believe that what is meant to be, will be. Although we may not always get the answer we pray for, we still have to know that God knows best. Also, God’s timing is amazing. Just when we think He’s not listening or has forgotten about our prayer “requests”, it’s like out of nowhere we are blessed with that very thing or that very situation we prayed about has been taken care of. So I just want to remind you that regardless of who you pray to or what you pray for, have faith and know that your blessing is coming. Your prayers have already been answered. And remember, if you’re going to pray, don’t worry. If you’re going to worry, don’t pray…
Now about today’s outfit…it’s a look that I had a lot of fun putting together. I’m a big fan of polka dots, on everyone else LOL! But after thrifting this top, I actually began liking them for me! The top has a zipper on the side that zips down which is super convenient. I don’t know about you but I can’t do the tops that have a side zipper that zips up. This zip down zipper doesn’t pinch my fat or cause a bulge to show…it’s perfect! The pants are super fun and a perfect staple piece for the Summertime. I paired them with black and white flats that I thrifted last season I believe. Keeping the jewelry to a minimum, I went for a chunky bracelet and a pair of hoops. I’ve decided for it’s a definite workplace look, don’t you agree?
Enjoy the pics, stay blessed and I’ll talk to you soon!
